March 2026 Qigong Retreat in Taos ~

What is QiGong?

QiGong is the ancient art of cultivating life-force energy.

Born in China over 4,000 years ago, QiGong (氣功) evolved as a way to balance or harmonize the body, mind, and spirit. For millennia, practitioners have passed down these flowing movements, breathing techniques, and meditative awareness as a way to nourish vitality, strengthen resilience, and (re-)connect to the rhythms of nature.

Through gentle, water-like movements and mindful breath, QiGong dissolves stress, clears stagnation, and awakens the innate healing capacity within. It is often described as “moving meditation”—a practice that cultivates both stillness and flow, grounding and uplift, softening and strengthening.

Through practice, QiGong provides a way to return to your center, feel deeply connected to life, and open to the vast creative force moving through all things.
